5:30 Cheltenham- Champagne Court 25/1 (0.5pt ew)
Novice hurdlers have a good record in this race and a chance is taken on the lightly raced Champagne Court this year. He ran well in his only bumper start when 4th at the course when sent off an unfancied 25/1 shot but won well in a strong novices’ hurdle at Lingfield on hurdling debut in November. He finished 5th in two Grade 2 hurdles on his next two starts before slightly disappointing at Carlisle on his last start.
Champagne Court makes his handicap debut in this race off a mark of 126 and has the services of the talented Rex Dingle for the race and with five and six places available each way in this race, he could hit the frame at a big price.
