Joel Stakes Odds
The Joel Stakes takes place on the third day of the Cambridgeshire Meeting at Newmarket. This meeting is on every year late September and beginning of October. It provides top betting opportunities for horse racing punters considering that the British flat racing season is getting towards the end.
The Joel Stakes is open to thoroughbreds that are three or more, and it is run on the popular Rowley Mile course. Despite being initially over a mile, the race was cut in the distance in 1989, and it is now a two-furlong contest.
In 2011 it was made a Group Two status and was originally called the Main Reef Stakes. The name was given by the horse Main Reef who won the 1978 July Stakes. Other interesting races of the Cambridgeshire meetings are the Royal Lodge Stakes and the Cheveley Park Stakes. Below you will find all the latest odds on the Joel Stakes so go ahead and secure the best price.
