3:00pm Saturday – International Hurdle Betting Tips (Grade 2)

Pentland Hills landed the Triumph Hurdle back in March at the end of a brilliant performance. This horse followed up the success with a Grade 1 Anniversary 4-Y-O Juvenile Hurdle win at Aintree. Now, it will be time for Nicky Henderson-trained ace to improve his profile further by landing the International Hurdle.

Pentland Hills is the market leader at the moment and can be backed at 7/4 with William Hill. He is well-fancied already to win the Champion Hurdle at the 2020 Cheltenham Festival and available at the moment at 8/1. We expect that the Seven Barrows inmate will be setting the page here, but there will be some classy contenders as well.

Ch’tibello is available at 100/30 with William Hill to land success here. Dan Skelton’s chard has won the County Hurdle but will need the best performance of his career to defeat favourite Pentland Hills.

Henderson will also be represented by Call Me Lord who is at 5/1 with William Hill. The likes of Elixir Du Nutz (7/1) and Monsieur Lecoq adds more depth to what should be a brilliant race.

1:55pm Saturday – Caspian Caviar Gold Cup Betting Tips (Handicap)

On Friday morning the ante-post favourite for the Caspian Caviar Gold Cup, Riders on the Storm has been withdrawn from the race, and the betting looks even more challenging now.

The new market leaders are now Venetia Williams’ Cepage and Secret Investor trained by Paul Nicholls. Both can be backed at 6/1 with BetVictor. Those two horses have finished second on their seasonal debut, and despite the fact that they will be carrying top of the weight, they have the class to shine here.

Brelan D’As was second to Happy Diva in the BetVictor Gold Cup in November and Nicholls will be hoping to see him improving on Saturday. He surely deserves respect at 8/1 with 888Sport. Dan Skelton’s Not That Fuisse is also at 8/1 with 888Sport and will have bottom weight so might be worth considering for an each-way punt. The likes of Good Man Pat and Clondaw Castle are both at 10/1 with bet365 and will add more depth to a race that will be very challenging for punters considering the lack of a top favourite.
