3:10 Plumpton- Age Of Wisdom 11/4 (1pt)
Age Of Wisdom has made a good return to hurdling this season having had a couple of runs on the AW. He ran well to finish 3rd on heavy ground at Lingfield before improving for a step up in trip to win over this C&D last time.
Age Of Wisdom won by 2 ½ lengths last time off a mark of 102 under Niall Houlihan claiming 7lb and that rider continues to claim 7lb off a 5lb higher mark today. He should prove hard to beat.
4:50 Kempton- Gold Standard 11/2 (0.5pt ew)
Gold Standard joined Tim Carroll from John Joseph Murphy in Ireland who decided to give him a chance in a juvenile hurdle at Cheltenham. He finished tailed off that day but sprung a surprise at Wolverhampton 7 days ago when winning at odds of 28/1.
Gold Standard runs here under a 5lb penalty which could prove lenient as he won by 2 ¾ lengths last time and he looks sure to run well with four places on offer.
