Following a blank day yesterday, Steve Ryder previews three races on Tuesday 10th September. P&L +34.06pts.
2:05 Listowel- Barrington Court 7/4 (1pt)
Barrington Court was a good bumper horse last season who was bought by JP McManus following a 10 length victory at Navan in a listed race in November. She contested two maiden hurdles last season, the first finishing third behind the top class Relegate and the second can be excused as she returned lame.
If Barrington Court is ready to go after 247 days off then she should win this easily ahead of Blazing Emily who is making her hurdling debut.
4:40 Listowel- Jack Dillinger 11/2 (0.5pt ew)
Jack Dillinger has had three starts over fences so far with his best performance coming last time at Killarney over this distance of 2m1f. He still held a narrow advantage over the odds on favourite Due Reward at the last before a bad mistake meant the favourite went on to win.
The pair pulled 26 lengths of Ivanovich Gorbatov in third and if Jack Dillinger arrives in the same form then he could upset the odds on favourite Sayo who pulled up 40 days ago.
4:55 Leicester- Six Strings 6/4 (1pt)
Six Strings won his penultimate start at Catterick off a mark of 74 and was unlucky not to follow up at Musselburgh on Friday off 5lb higher. He was sent off favourite and was travelling best of all but couldn’t get a clear run 2f out meaning the winner got first run and Six Strings could only get within a length at the finish.
With a clearer run Six Strings would have won so he should still hold strong claims off a 2lb higher mark.
