Grand Annual Handicap Chase Betting Preview & Tips
Day 4 – Fri 13th Mar 2020 – 4.50 pm – Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase Challenge Cup – Grade 3 – 2m110y
The Grand Annual Chase is the penultimate race of the Cheltenham Festival. It is a Grace 3 National Hunt chase which is over two miles and half-a-furlong, and it is open to horses who are aged five years old and more. It is the shortest trip to the Festival, with 14 fences to be jumped. It is a difficult race to predict with a massive field, and the betting is normally very competitive with lots of casual punters trying their luck.
Our Bet: GREANETEEN
GREANETEEN is a progressive horse that has impressed so far over fences. His jumping has been perfect, and surely he is going to compete in graded contests in the future, especially if he can overcome his rivals off a mark of 150. The main danger is coming from two novices, Lips and Chosen Mate.
Our Verdict: Greaneteen
