Following a 4/1 winner yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Friday 9th August. P&L +71.70pts.
4:00 Brighton- Handytalk 5/1 (0.5pt ew)
Handytalk has won twice this season, once at Salisbury off a mark of 75 before winning at Ffos Las off a mark of 76 last time. He has been raised 3lb for that victory but connections have decided to run him here under a 5lb penalty and have booked Cieren Fallon to take off that 5lb.
Handytalk should go well from the front and with a top claimer booked could follow up.
7:30 Chelmsford- Harry’s Bar 7/4 (2pt)
Harry’s Bar has won both of his starts since dropping down to 5f and should have a good opportunity to make it three in a row. He won at Lingfield off a mark of 74 before following up at Wolverhampton off a mark of 81. He has been raised a further 4lb for that win but was value for more than the ¾ length winning margin.
James Fanshawe is brilliant with these progressive sprinters and Harry’s Bar can bring up the hat-trick in this race.
