Following an 11/4 winner yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races away from Aintree on Friday 5th April. P&L +11.43pts.
5:30 Wolverhampton- New Rich 22/1 (0.5pt ew)
New Rich was rated in the 60s between 2013 and 2017 and took advantage of a drop down to 50 to win over this C&D in January. He was ridden by Georgia Dobie that day who has retained the partnership since which is a huge positive in this Apprentice Handicap.
New Rich struggled with the drop back down to 5f last time at Chelmsford and he should have a good each way chance now back down to a mark of 51 with four places on offer.
7:10 Dundalk- Hasselnott 7/1 (0.5pt ew)
Hasselnott has a good record at Dundalk with form figures over 7f+ of 2331242163 with victories coming off marks of 71 and 73. He finished 3rd on his last start at the venue off a mark of 81 when he was beaten less than a length.
Hasselnott ran with credit back on turf last time to finish 5th off this mark and back at his favourite venue he should run well.
