Following a disappointing day yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Friday 14th June. P&L +69.01pts.
2:20 York- Archie Perkins 4/1 (0.5pt ew)
Archie Perkins has won his last two starts and bids for hat-trick in this race. He won at Redcar over 1m2f off a mark of 70 before following up off 3lb higher at Beverley on Saturday. He won that comfortably by 4 lengths at the finish and looked better suited to ground with a bit of cut in it.
Archie Perkins runs here under a 5lb penalty rather than his revised mark so he is technically 3lb well in and should go well.
6:55 Cork- Peach Tree 3/1 (1pt)
Aidan O’Brien has won four out of the last five renewals of this race with three of those victories coming with 3 year olds. He is represented by Peach Tree this year who won a listed race at two and made a nice comeback at Naas in a Group 3 where she finished 4th, only a length behind favourite Who’s Steph.
Peach Tree disappointed in the Oaks but shoulld be betterr suited by this drop in class and she should run well.
