Following two frustrating second places yesterday, Steve Ryder previews two races on Friday 12th April. P&L +9.26pts.
3:25 Ayr- Value At Risk 16/1 (0.5pt ew)
Value At Risk won this race last season off a mark of 130 and runs in the race this year off only 3lb higher. He won off a mark of 132 at Market Rasen in January and this return back to good ground looks sure to suit.
Value At Risk has been overlooked in the market as Harry Skelton is on board Born Survivor but with four places on offer he should run well.
7:30 Ballinrobe- The Gabby Cabby 3/1 (1pt)
The Gabby Cabby is the only horse near the top of the market with previous experience and a repeat of his fourth place finish should be enough for victory here. He finished behind Dewcup (4th in a Grade 2 since) and Blackhillsofdakota (won a listed race) so the race has worked out well and given he was hampered in the straight that run can be upgraded.
The Gabby Cabby can hopefully use his experience and should prove hard to beat.
