England vs Scotland Predictions & Betting Tips: What A Derby That Awaits At Wembley

England vs Scotland Betting

We are in for an absolute belter at Wembley on Friday night as England hosts Scotland at Wembley in London. This derby will be nothing but friendly, and after Scotland’s loss in the opening game to the Czech Republic, they cannot accept anything but a try to leave London with all the three points.

Current Table Position And Home & Away Performances

England impressed in their opening game against Croatia and especially Kalvin Phillips, who was the main man in midfield. It seems like Southgate has found his formula with Rice and Phillips as the balance of the midfield while he can leave place for four attacking players in front of them. Raheem Sterling scored the goal for England on the opening day, and I’m quite sure we will see a Harry Kane that’s eager to add one to his name on Friday against the Scot’s.

Goals Markets Betting Preview

I have to say that I was disappointed with Scotland in their opening game, and they are now in a really tough situation. No one would expect them to take any three-pointers against neither England nor Croatia, and if they fail to get a win from any of them, the party is probably over within just a week.
The problem for Scotland is that there’s no lethal striker in the team, and with Che Adams even on the bench (he did come in for the second half, and I guess he will start against England) it was hard to see Scotland score even against Czech Republic. England have found balance in their defence, and I think they will hold on to a clean sheet here.

Betting Preview

Adding to that I think England will win this, and England winning to nil is the betting combo I will go with for this one. It will be tough and challenging all over the pitch, and we could also be seeing a lot of cards. A market anyone who likes that type of betting should have a look at. Maybe an opening for a penalty as well? Something for Harry Kane to slot home. But England winning to nil is our main take-away from here.
