Daily Double Tips | Tottenham to Stay Unbeaten against Chelsea!
Hello everyone. Aston Villa sadly crushed our weekend’s FA Cup double as they failed to score a single goal in a demolishing home defeat to Swansea City in the third round of the competition. The Swans picked up a 0-3 victory at Villa Park to destroy our Both Teams To Score bet there.
The other BTTS pick landed as Brighton saw off Bournemouth 1-3 away at Vitality Stadium. The bet was winning even before the hour-mark when Marc Pugh pulled one back for the Cherries as Knockaert and Bissouma have previously given Brighton a 0-2 cushion before the half time.
We are aiming towards hitting two from two on Tuesday with the following pair of picks:
#1 Tottenham Hotspur v Chelsea
Tottenham host Chelsea in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final on Tuesday evening at Wembley. Both teams used to play this competition with mixed line-ups, but we expect both Mauricio Pochettino and Maurizio Sarri to bring their strongest squads to the pitch thus late in the campaign.
The hosts will enter the match in much higher spirits. They pulled off two super impressive away wins over Cardiff City (0-3) and Tranmere Rovers (0-7) in past two fixtures. Tottenham won six of last seven games in all competitions.
Chelsea could not break the deadlock in the previous Premier League affair as they only drew 0-0 at home to Southampton last week. They did bag a 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
We can’t see the hosts losing the first leg in front of the home crowds with such form.
The first bet is Tottenham Hotspur or Draw Double Chance at the odds of 7/20!

#2 Bromley v Wrexham
Bromley have been flying high of late. They won three on the spin in the National League to climb up to the 13th place in the league ladder after making somewhat of a slower kick off to the new season. They bagged an impressive eight-goal tally in the process and we’d certainly not be surprised to see them maintaining such fine attacking form on Tuesday when they play host to Wrexham.
The visitors sit third in the league ladder and they come into this as favourites. However, they lost last two league matches and they are winless in last five on the road in all competitions. As Bromley won all of past four home games across competitions, we do find the value in backing goals at both ends at the odds of 3/4.
The second pick is BTTS at the odds of 3/4!
