Daily Double Tips | It’s Derby della Madonnina time!
Hello everyone. We did not have luck with the previous double placed two weeks ago during the international break. The BT4Y crew decided to back two goal-scorers on the occasion. The first bet was Raheem Sterling to score anytime for the Three Lions against Bulgaria. England demolished their rivals 4-0 and Manchester City’s in-form forward scored his team’s third goal on the assist from Harry Kane.
The second pick was Antoine Griezmann to score anytime for France against Albania at the odds of 8/13. Les Bleus claimed a demolishing 4-1 victory, but Barcelona’s striker was not among goal-scorers. He missed a penalty-kick in the first-half of the affair.
Nevertheless, we are enthusiastic moving forward as the crew has cherry-picked two decent betting options for this Saturday. Here are the bets:
#1 Leeds v Derby
Derby County are not pulling up any trees at the start of the new season. They are struggling badly to adjust to life without Frank Lampard. The Rams hold the disappointing 19th position after 7 rounds of the competition. They are winless in six consecutive games in all competitions and they will come into the tie with leaders Leeds off the back of three defeats and two draws in the last five ties.
This is not the kind of form you want to have coming face to face with arguably the strongest team in the competition. The Peacocks successfully recovered from the Swansea City shock as they saw off Barnsley 0-2 away from home last weekend. They have a predator in the final third in the like of Patrick Bamford who should have plenty of room to deliver past one of the weakest defensive lines in the division.
Derby conceded eight goals in last three away matches in all competitions against Stoke City, Nottingham Forest, and Brentford.
The first pick is Leeds to win at the odds of 2/5!
#2 Milan v Inter
A real buzz is expected in and around Stadio San Siro on Saturday evening when bitter city rivals Milan and Inter are set to lock horns in the new edition of the Derby della Madonnina. Nerazzurri come into the match as the Serie A leaders. Antonio Conte’s men are the only team in the league with the maximum record of three wins in three games. However, each of the last two games Inter played in all competitions ended with fewer than three goals scored, including the mid-week’s 1-1 draw to Slavia Prague at the start of the new Champions League season.
Milan lack the creativity in the build-up play without a genuine playmaker in their ranks. They did win two on the spin, but these wins came against the likes of Brescia and ten-man Verona and were both narrow ones, with the same 1-0 scoreline. None of the team’s three league games saw two or more goals scored.
The second bet is Under 2.5 goals FT at the odds of 4/6!
