Daily Double Tips | Backing goal-scorers this time around!
Hello fellow tipsters. We were so unlucky with the previous double as Kurt Zouma scored an own goal for Chelsea at the death of their tie against newly-promoted Sheffield United. The Blues dropped a clear victory as it ended 2-2 at Stamford Bridge.
The second bet landed with ease as Aberdeen demolished Ross County 3-0, just as we tipped. The Dons had a two-goal cushion before the half time thanks to goals from Greg Leigh and Sam Cosgrove. Ryan Hedges set the final score five minutes after the break.
Here is the new double featuring goal-scorers for massive favourites France and England.
#1 England v Bulgaria
England began the qualifying campaign in the strongest way possible. They bagged five goals in each of two opening fixtures against the Czech Republic and Montenegro. Four of these ten goals were scored by Raheem Sterling who netted a hat-trick in the first game against the Czechs.
Sterling is enjoying an amazing spell of form with Manchester City at the start of the new Premier League season as well. He opened the season with a hat-trick away at West Ham United, adding a goal each in following two games against Tottenham Hotspur and Bournemouth. The only match in which Sterling has failed to produce was the last weekend’s 4-0 drubbing of Brighton at Etihad Stadium.
We expect another demolishing victory for the Three Lions against Bulgaria who revealed plenty of defensive holes lately. The visitors lost 2-3 to the likes of Kosovo back in June.
The first pick is Raheem Sterling to score anytime a the odds of 4/6!
#2 France v Albania
France will be looking to add another victory to their tally on Saturday evening when they play host to Albania in Paris. Les Bleus won three of four games so far and they’ve bagged 12 goals in the process. The only slip-up came against Turkey away from home (a 2-0 defeat).
Albanians have had a semi-success with two wins and losses each. They have nothing to hope for coming face to face with the World Cup holders. Didier Deschamps will be without his key star Kylian Mbappe who is injured. It leaves Antoine Griezmann as the main target in the final third.
The striker made a move from Atletico Madrid to Barcelona this summer. He scored a brace in the home victory over Real Betis and has two goals in three games for the new team. The forward was also on target in the pre-season thumping of Napoli (0-4) on the US soil.
The second bet is Antoine Griezmann to score anytime at the odds of 8/13!
