NEW V2 LS Bet365 Top Billboard 1 - Czech Republic U21 v Scotland U21 Tips & Previews: Scots To Be Back Empty-Handed

Match Preview & Team News

Czech Republic and Scotland will face each other on Monday evening valid for the U21 Euro Qualifiers. Both those two sides have started their campaign pretty well as Czech Republic are currently sitting in third place with one win, and one draw and Scotland are in second with two wins and one draw.

A win will allow Czech Republic to reach Scotland in 2nd position and increase their chances of qualifying for the finals. Only the first team in the group will qualify so this match is particularly important for both sides.

Czech Republic have done pretty well at home as they have won 5 of their last six encounters. In the previous match, they have drawn with group leaders Greece for 1-1. Scotland, on the other hand, have been struggling when away from home. Even though they have won in their last trip to Croatia, before that, they conceded three defeats in a row against Mexico, Turkey and Ukraine.

It is therefore not surprising to see that bookmakers are actually making the Scots the underdogs in this Euro Under 21 qualifiers. A win for Scotland is available at 10/3 while the draw is at 12/5 and a home win is at 17/20.

Full Time Winner Odds & Prediction

Our suggestion is to go for a straight home win. Czech Republic have been very solid in front of their fans, and they will be motivated to beat the Scots. This is possibly the last chance for Czech Republic as if they will fail to win, it seems unlikely that they will be able to win the group and qualify for the finals of the Euro Under 21. Since 2015 they have always scored when playing at home. Vaníček and Šašinka are in good form, and we don’t see this trend changing against a rather porous Scottish’s defence.
