4:10 Cheltenham- Ballycasey 28/1 (0.5pt ew)
Tiger Roll has been a short priced favourite for this race since victory in the Boyne Hurdle last month and last year’s winner is the most likely winner but at around 6/4 I can let him win at that price. Ballycasey would be one of the highest rated chasers running in this code and despite slight question marks about the trip he looks the each way option in an open looking race.
Ballycasey ran well over this C&D in December when 5th despite having to concede chunks of weight as it was a handicap whereas this race is run off level weights. Connections brought him over to school in January so they look to be taking his bid seriously and he is forgiven his latest run at Punchestown as he received a knock early and came back lame. With four places available each way in this race, he could fill the frame at a big price.
