Correct Score Double Tips | Olympiakos to hold Spurs to a draw in Piraeus!
Hi all. We were just one goal short of landing the massive correct score double in the previous attempt. The crew managed to hit the 9/2 bet from the Copa do Brasil final as Atletico Paranaense saw off Internacional 1-0 in the first leg in front of the home crowd, just as we predicted.
The second bet saw us chase a 1-2 victory for Lyngby over Fremad Amager in their clash in the Danish Cup. The regular game ended in a 1-1 draw as the lower-division outfit (Fremad Amager) advanced on penalties (5-4).
Can we make it count this time around? Here is the Champions League correct score double:
#1 Club Brugge v Galatasaray
Club Brugge will be looking to start the new Champions League campaign in a victorious fashion on Wednesday evening when they welcome Turkish giants Galatasaray to Jan Breydelstadion. The hosts will come into the match high on confidence after winning three and drawing one of the last four outings in all competitions. They managed to go past the likes of Dynamo Kyiv and LASK Linz in the Champions League qualifications and they were unbeaten against both Monaco and Atletico Madrid at home last year in the group phase.
Galatasaray signed a host of new players this summer and their manager will obviously need some time to bed in all the new arrivals. They started the new Super Lig campaign in a somewhat slower fashion, but they will come into this with an improved confidence after winning two on the bounce against Kayserispor and Kasimpasa. However, Galata lost five on the spin away from home in the Champions League and we are not quite optimistic about their chances of leaving Belgium undefeated.
The first pick will be Club Brugge to win 2-1 at the odds of 15/2!
#2 Olympiakos Piraeus v Tottenham
Olympiakos made the perfect start to the new season. They began the Champions League adventure from the second qualifying round but managed to advance past the likes of Viktoria Plzen, Istanbul Basaksehir, and Krasnodar with five wins and a draw in six games in the process. They have also won each of the three matches at the start of the new domestic league campaign without conceding a single goal along the way.
Tottenham have been far less consistent so far in the season, but they will still head into this as favourites. Spurs demolished Crystal Palace 4-0 at the weekend to end the three-game winless streak in the Premier League. However, we would not be surprised to see Mauricio Pochettino’s troops slipping up in Greece.
The second pick is the 1-1 draw at the odds of 11/2!
