Correct Score Double Tips | Nigeria and Senegal to clinch wins!
Greetings everyone. We managed to land one of two correct score bets in a massive 63/1 longshot. Sadly, Atletico Madrid let us down preventing a huge day for the BT4Y crew in this section. Diego Simeone’s men fell 2-1 away at Bayer Leverkusen seven days ago. It was their first defeat of the campaign against a team which had previously claimed zero points in three rounds.
We got it right with the other pick, successfully predicting a 1-2 victory for Juventus away at Lokomotiv Moscow at whopping 15/2 odds. It was by far the most frequent result for Bianconeri so far in the season and we just had to go for it.
There is no Champions League football this week. We will thus go with a pair of African Cup of Nations qualifiers this time around. Here are the bets:
#1 Nigeria v Benin
Nigeria begin their African Cup of Nations qualifying campaign with the home fixture against Benin on Wednesday afternoon. The Super Eagles are the main favourites in the qualifying group L and they should get off to a victorious start without too many problems here. They saw off Togo 2-0 in the last test a month ago. Gernot Rohr’s men also kept their net untouched in the previous competitive affair when they saw off Tunisia 1-0 in the third-place battle at the African Cup of Nations this summer.
The Super Eagles won each of four home clashes against Benin historically. They shipped just one goal in the process (7-1 goal difference). The visitors failed to find the back of the net in four of the last six games they played in all competitions. We doubt they’ll have much success breaking such a negative thread in Uyo.
The first pick is Nigeria to win 2-0 at the odds of 15/4!
#2 Senegal v Congo
Senegal lost the African Cup of Nations final to Algeria this summer (0-1). They will begin the qualifying campaign for the next term of the competition (2021) on Wednesday afternoon against Congo. Aliou Cisse’s men are heavy favourites going into the tie. They’ve done well defensively in the recent matches. Senegal conceded only 6 goals in the last 18 matches in all competitions.
They have never shipped a goal against Congo. Senegal won two and drew one of three head to head encounters. Both wins came with an identical 2-0 scoreline. Congo are led by the Brazilian manager Valdo, but they do not have a star in their squad. Given they’ll be up against one of the strongest teams in Africa, we have no reasons to be optimistic regarding their chances against Sadio Mane & company.
The second bet is Senegal to win 2-0 at the 9/2 odds!
