Correct Score Double Tips | Italy and Finland to Back up Saturday’s Wins!
Greetings everyone. We are back with the correct score section after a one-week break. Season is over in most of top-notch leagues across European continent, but this week brings international football on the plate as national teams are battling it out for a place at the EURO 2020.
Before we get to Tuesday’s double, let’s just briefly go through last week’s matches. We successfully predicted home wins in both games, but sadly failed to make correct score predictions right. We went for Rapid Vienna to beat Mattersburg 2-1 at home. The visitors failed to find the back of the net in a 2-0 loss on the occasion.
The second pick saw us chase a demolishing 3-0 victory for Malmo FF over GIF Sundsvall in the elite tier of the Swedish football. The hosts barely edged past their rivals 2-1, though.
Here are selections for this Tuesday:
#1 Italy v Bosnia-Herzegovina
Italy did not make it to the World Cup in Russia and they began the new qualifying campaign extremely motivated to prevent yet another failure. The team led by Roberto Mancini got off to a perfect start with three wins in three outings and an impressive goal difference of 11-0 in the process.
Azzuri were especially dominant on Saturday when they breezed past Greece 0-3 away in Athens. They will thus go into this fourth round tie against Bosnia-Herzegovina as massive favourites, especially if we know their counterparts disappointed heavily in a 2-0 loss to Finland on the same day. Bosnia picked up only four points from three rounds so far. Given they are up against Italy who are yet to concede a goal in this qualifying campaign, we can’t expect anything other but a clean sheet victory for the hosts.
The first bet is Italy to win 2-0 at the odds of 9/2!
#2 Liechtenstein v Finland
Finland are flying high after a magnificent performance in a 2-0 win over direct rivals in the battle for the second place in Group J on Saturday. The Scandinavian outfit relied on Norwich’s striker Teemu Pukki who inspired the mentioned success with the second-half brace. Pukki should have plenty of room to back up such extraordinary showing on Tuesday when his team goes up against one of the weakest teams in the entire continent.
Liechtenstein easily lost each of three games so far and they are yet to find the back of the net in this qualifying campaign (0-11 goal difference). Since Finland are known for their rock-solid defense, we can hardly imagine the hosts scoring a goal here. Also, the visitors have a fantastic chance to make another step towards the EURO 2020 and we sincerely doubt they will miss out on such opportunity and drop the ball against the likes of Liechtenstein.
The second bet is Finland to win 0-4 at 17/2!
