Correct Score Double Tips | Going for the 42/1 Longshot on Wednesday!
Greetings fellow punters. We got very close with the correct score double attempt last week but ended up landing neither of two bets on Wednesday. We chased two 1-1 draws on the occasion, but away teams snatched narrow 0-1 wins respectively.
Porto dispatched Krasnodar 0-1 on the road. We have to mention that the Russians got their revenge beating the Portuguese powerhouse 2-3 in the reverse fixture at Dragao this Tuesday.
The second game saw Istanbul’s Edin Visca miss the stoppage-time penalty-kick as the Turkish Super Lig runners-up fell 0-1 at home to Olympiacos Piraeus.
Anyhow, we are ready for the new attempt this Wednesday.
#1 Stabaek v Valerenga
Interestingly, Stabaek and Valerenga are holding identical positions to those they finished the previous Eliteserien campaign at. The hosts sit third from bottom with just 16 points from 16 games and they are currently just three points above the rock-bottomed Stromsgodset.
Each of last four games Stabaek played saw goals scored at both ends and this is exactly the scenario we are expecting to see when they come face to face with 6th-placed Valerenga here. The visitors have had a roller-coaster campaign so far in the season. The lack of consistency keeps them out of the title contention. Valerenga took just one point from last two league games and we don’t see them as favourites here in spite of the look at the standings.
Stabaek drew 1-1 to Haugesund in the previous round while Enga saw the same scoreline in their clash with Kristiansund two weeks ago.
The first pick is a 1-1 draw at the odds of 11/2!
#2 Zurich v St. Gallen
Both Zurich and St. Gallen began the new Super League season dreadfully. The hosts are yet to claim their maiden win of the season. They took only two points from four opening rounds. The lack of meticulousness at the back is probably the main reason for such a poor record at the beginning of the new campaign. Zurich conceded nine goals in four matches so far.
St. Gallen have also been easy to break down lately but they’ve managed a shock 1-2 victory over Basel on the road in the second round of the competition. Instead of backing it up, they took just one point from following two outings against Neuchatel Xamax and Young Boys, though.
The draw is the most probable of three outcomes here and we will go for the 1-1 scoreline at the odds of 11/2.
The second pick is a 1-1 draw at the odds of 11/2!
