Correct Score Double Tips | Finland and Greece to share spoils!
Howdy fellow tipsters. We had a semi-success last week with the correct score double. The crew successfully predicted the narrow home win for Slavia Prague against CFR Cluj, but Lille claimed a surprising 3-0 victory on the home patch against Saint-Etienne. We backed the 1-1 draw in one of two Ligue 1 clashes on the evening.
Slavia advanced to the Champions League group phase 2-0 on aggregate thanks p two separate 1-0 wins over the Romanian outfit. Jan Boril scored the only goal of the game in the reverse fixture in the Czech capital to help us hit the 9/2 odds 1-0 correct score bet there.
Can we hit both picks this time around?
#1 Finland v Greece
Finland have left a much better impression so far during the qualifying campaign. They started with a 2-0 loss in Italy, but responded via three consecutive wins to climb up to the second place in the Group J standings. The Scandinavian outfit have not conceded a single goal in the process. Whilst wins over Armenia and Liechtenstein can be taken for granted, the 2-0 victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina seriously confirmed team’s candidature for one of top two spots here.
Finland now take on Greece, on whom they have a five-point advantage coming into this fifth-round tie. The Greeks were unrecognizable defensively so far in the campaign. They allowed at least two goals in each of the last four games they’ve played. The streak includes an embarrassing 2-3 home defeat at the hands of Armenia in the previous round.
The visitors can’t afford a defeat which would basically eliminate them from the battle for one of top two positions in the group. This is why we expect a careful approach from them which has to result in a low-scoring affair here.
The first pick is a 0-0 draw at the odds of 9/2!
#2 Bosnia-Herzegovina v Liechtenstein
Bosnia are in a must-win situation in following two ties against Liechtenstein and Armenia. They are five points shy of second-placed Finland after two consecutive losses to Finland and Italy. The match against the group underdogs comes just at the right time for the team led by Robert Prosinecki as the Bosnians have a chance to boost up the momentum with a demolishing victory over one of the weakest teams on the continent.
The visitors are yet to score their first goal of the qualifying campaign. We doubt they will make it count right here in Zenica where the Bosnians head into the match as clear favourites. Bosnia-Herzegovina conceded at least a goal in each of the last five outings they’ve played. We doubt they will allow one here and we’ll go for a comprehensive home victory as the main correct sore prediction for this game.
The second bet is Bosnia-Herzegovina to win 4-0 at the odds of 9/2!
