Correct Score Double Tips | Dortmund to bounce back in a thrilling contest in Nurnberg
While Leeds beat Swansea 2-1 last time out and brought us halfway there but Caen failing to find the net in a 0-1 home loss to Nantes means we get nothing for a sweet attempt on our last Correct Score Double.
Still, we have a busy Monday on our hands and we’re confident we can bounce back early in the new week, as we enjoy Bundesliga and Serie A this evening. We expect thrilling contest but still feel the favourites will bag the points, which will largely affect our predictions.
Let’s hope for better luck with our Monday’s lively longshot Correct Score Double!
#1 Nurnberg v Borussia Dortmund
Borussia Dortmund travel to Nurnberg with a four-match winless streak now behind them, looking to take the gap at the top of Bundesliga table to five points once again with a more confident display at rock-bottomed rivals.
BVB shared the spoils in draws against Eintracht Frankfurt and Hoffenheim in two Bundesliga outings but the DFB Pokal exit in the hands of Bremen and a thrashing 3-0 loss at Tottenham will be more worrying.
They will now be desperate for a confidence booster but getting a shot at it at Max-Morlock-Stadion feels like a great opportunity, as Nurnberg look far from their best at this point.
Indeed, Der Club have been scoring goals at this ground more regularly but eight losses in ten games feel very worrying for Boris Schommers and his men, with a friendly draw at PEC Zwolle and a 1-1 draw against Werder Bremen only bright spots along the way. They’ve struggled defensively and this should show on Monday evening once again!
The first bet is a 1-2 win for Borussia Dortmund at the odds of 7/1!

#2 Roma v Bologna
Roma have bagged a narrow Champions League win over Porto and connected their second in a row after outclassing Chievo, finally picking up their team spirits after a troubled spell of form in late January and early February.
Giallorossi still retained a solid streak at Olimpico, where they bagged five wins and a draw in their last six outings despite conceding on the regular. Eusebio Di Francesco will hope his men can now show their class and we do see them bagging the points, but not without conceding.
Indeed, Bologna have caused an upset at Inter with a single goal from Federico Santander and held off Genoa with another from Mattia Destro, which does promise them in a good mood as well. With that in mind, we hope to see them find the net too despite not making a case for them to snatch the points.
The second bet is Roma to win 2-1 at the odds of 13/2!
