Correct Score Double Tips | Barcelona to edge past Nerazzurri!
Hi all. The UEFA Champions League is back in action with the second-round fixtures set to be played on Wednesday evening. We decided to select two games from Group F for this week’s correct score double. Before we get to these affairs, let’s just briefly remind of the results from seven days ago.
We were close to snatching the 1-1 draw in the Serie A derby between Inter and Lazio at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. However, Biancocelesti failed to find the back of the net in a 1-0 defeat to Inter who thus preserved the perfect record at the start of the new season.
However, the BT4Y were nowhere near hitting the second bet on the occasion as we went for the 1-0 narrow win for Valencia in the La Liga tie against Getafe. Teams ended up sharing spoils in a 3-3 draw at Mestalla.
Anyhow, here is the new correct score double:
#1 Slavia Prague v Borussia Dortmund
Everyone instantly eliminated Slavia Prague as soon as the groups were drawn, but the Czech champions are by no means such massive underdogs as people might think. They’ve shown strength in the 1-1 draw to Inter Milan on an opening day as Nerazzurri were lucky to have saved a point with a late equalizer on the home patch.
Slavia are now up against Borussia Dortmund and we expect them to push the Germans to the limits on Wednesday. They enjoyed a fine Europa League campaign last season and they have been the dominant force in Czech football over the last couple of years. Slavia are very tough to break down. They shipped only one goal in the last five games they played in all competitions.
Dortmund are winless in the last three matches they played across competitions. We’d not be surprised to see this one ending without a winner.
The first pick is the 1-1 draw at the odds of 6/1!
#2 Barcelona v Inter
Barcelona are having huge problems with the lack of consistency at the start of the season. They were lucky to have avoided a defeat to Dortmund in the first round’s goalless draw at Signal-Iduna-Park. They struggled badly on travels so far in the season.
Blaugarana are still considered favourites here even though they will be without the likes of Lionel Messi, Jordi Alba, and Ousmane Dembele who are all out through injuries. We all know that Antonio Conte is capable of parking the bus and closing the game and we expect Barcelona to struggle for creativity in the final third without their best player on the pitch.
However, the Catalan giants remain favourites to win. We see the value in backing the 1-0 correct score at the 7/1 odds.
The second bet is Barcelona to win at the 7/1 odds!
