2:50 Cheltenham- Ballyandy 18/1 (0.5pt ew)
Ballyandy has lots of previous festival form and looks well handicapped based on that form. He won the Champion Bumper in 2016 before finishing 4th in the Supreme Novices’ Hurdle in 2017 having won the Betfair Hurlde off a mark of 135. Connections sent him novice chasing but he never jumped with any fluency and returned him to hurdles this season. He ran well on his reappearance at Kempton before winning well at Uttoxeter in January off a mark of 142. The handicapper raised him 6lb for that effort but he looked the winner approaching the last at Ascot before weakening into 3rd late on.
Given his previous festival form, we know that Ballyandy shows his best form here and he should run well off a mark of 148 especially in a race with up to seven places on offer.
