Main Bet: Richie Ramsay
The London Golf Club will host this week’s Cazoo Classic, and our first choice for this event is Richie Ramsay, who has done well in other Nicklaus designed courses and won at Pearl Valley in South Africa. He is a two-time top 10 finisher at Gleneagles and also finished tied 18th at this track on his only start in 2009. He then finished tied fourth at Mount Juliet at the beginning of July. His form has continued with three top 30 finishes since, and the fact that he is hitting lots of greens in regulation at the moment is a key stat considering the importance of approaches on Nicklaus designs. So it is worth backing him at this price: he is in good form and, on a course that suits him well, can be one of the protagonists.

Each Way Bet: Jamie Donaldson
Welshman Jamie Donaldson looks an intriguing proposition at this price. His form on correlating courses looks good as on his four visits to Bro Hoff Slot he has recorded an eighth, 10th, 11th and 22nd position. He was also tied eight the only time he visited Arlandastad. In addition to this, he also finished tied 10th at London GC in the 2008 European Open and tied 32 a year later. Generally, his form on Nicklaus design is impressive as he finished tied fifth at Gut Larchenhof, tied 6th at PGA National, and two times top sixes at Gleneagles. Last week he recorded his best Strokes Gained Approach since last spring, and everything points toward another solid performance at this track.
