Brian Ortega v Chan Sung Jung Betting Tips | 00:00 am Sunday, 18th October 2020
Since his return from military service in South Korea in 2017, Jung has re-established his profile as one of the best fighters in the featherweight ranks. The 33 years old is 3-1 in the last four fights, and the only defeat was caused by a sensational elbow strike made by Yair Rodriguez in the dying moments of the fight. That was a damaging defeat, but the ‘Korean Zombie’ has reacted from that loss with wins over Frankie Edgar and Renato Moicano. Another win this weekend, and he will be earning a shot at the gold next year.

Who will win Brian Ortega v Chan Sung Jung fight?
Brian Ortega will be hiping to stop Jung’s ambition of a UFC title fight. ‘T-City’ was defeated in the pro ranks last time but cannot be underestimated. After signing with the UFC in 2014, he has become one of the hottest prospects in the featherweight ranks and collected a series of stoppage wins over top opponents. In March 2018 he defeated former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar and secured a shot at the title against Max Holloway. That was a difficult match for Ortega that was hammered by Holloway, with the doctor that stopped the fight after round four. Since that damaging defeat, Ortega hasn’t been seen inside the Octagon. Can he come back with a win this weekend?
Both those two fighters will be aiming for a stoppage win to send a clear message to the rest of the division. We believe that ‘Korean Zombie’ has what it takes to get it. He has great talent, and if he didn’t have to enforce two-year military service, Jung could have been fighting for the UFC gold already. The last two performances against Moicano and Edgar were impressive as he has completely dominated. He is fighting with great confidence, and more should come. Ortega hasn’t been in action for around two years, and the last time he suffered a beating that would be difficult for any fighters to recover from. He was literally destroyed for 20 minutes by Holloway until the doctor stepped in. We expect Jung to pick his opponent apart and get a win without the first three rounds, to make a clear statement that he is ready to fight for a belt he has been longing waiting for.
