Brentford lost their first of three friendlies on German soil on Saturday when they fell 2-1 to Bundesliga side Stuttgart. The Bees got the early lead through Brian Mbeumo but they allowed two late goals, including one in the stoppage time to lose 2-1 to the German rival. Thomas Frank sent two different lineups on the pitch in two halves. He is expected to do the same on Tuesday afternoon when the Bees take on French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg in their second friendly in Germany.

The match against Strasbourg will be played in the South West corner of the country at the stadium of SV Aasen (half-amateur team).
