Both Teams To Score & Win Tips | Hoffenheim to Claim Spoils at OPEL ARENA!
Hi all! The previous update to the BTTS & Win section brought us a decent profit as we basically ended up landing the 10/3 odds home win & BTTS pick in the League One clash between Plymouth Argyle and Walsall. Ryan Edwards and Niall Canavan gave the Pilgrims a two-goal cushion early in the second half, while Andy Cook could only pull one back for the Saddlers eight minutes from time.
Interestingly, the other two bets were both void as some Southern League matches were postponed. Among those which were not played on Tuesday evening were Hendon v Weymouth and Altrincham v Blyth ties.
Here are our top BTTS & Win selections for Saturday:
Pick #1 – Freiburg v Hoffenheim – Away win & BTTS @ 21/10 (low stake) – German Bundesliga – 26th January 2019, 14:30.
Backing goals in Hoffenheim’s games is always a smart idea. Die Kraichgauer are known for their attacking-minded style. As many as 13 of last 14 games they played in all competitions (including two mid-season friendlies) saw goals scored at both ends. They fell 1-3 to reigning champions Bayern Munich in the first Bundesliga fixture in 2019 last Friday. Nonetheless, Julian Nagelsmann’s men will have a nice chance to rebound right away this Saturday when they travel to Freiburg. The hosts lost their previous round fixture 3-1 to Eintracht Frankfurt on the road and were generally easy to break down throughout the season.
Pick #2 – Strasbourg v Bordeaux – Home win & BTTS @ 4/1 (low stake) – French Ligue 1 – 26th January 2019, 19:00.
Strasbourg host Bordeaux in one of the most interesting ties of the Matchday No 22 in Ligue 1. The hosts are one of the most pleasant surprises of the season. They are enjoying an overwhelming campaign sitting comfortably at 5th place in the ladder at the moment. They are looking to keep the impressive three-win streak going here. Bordeaux are anything but a naïve opposition, but we have to try and go for the value of the 4/1 odds offered for this bet knowing Strasbourg notched an impressive nine-goal tally in past three league affairs.
Pick #3 – VVV v Emmen – Home win & BTTS @ 11/4 (low stake) – Dutch Eredivisie – 26th January 2019, 19:45.
VVV continued to shine in the New Year as well. They demolished ADO Den Haag 2-4 on the road last weekend in the first fixture of the year to climb up to 7th in the Eredivise standings. They are enjoying a tremendous home form with four wins and two draws in past six league affairs at De Koel. The opposition comes in the likes of Emmen who sit 15th after 18 rounds. The visitors will also enter the game high on confidence following a 2-2 draw with reigning champions and current leaders PSV in the previous round.
